Brandon Whittington and Maya Ramos-Allen

The married Co-Owners Brandon and Maya graduated as the top two students in their class in 2015 and have undergone multiple internships focusing on neurological/balance and orthopedic physical therapy. Since graduation they have continued a focus in these areas as well as gaining experience in geriatrics, prosthetics/pediatrics and receiving extensive training in thrust manipulation of the spine. With a special interest in falls prevention, chronic pain and pain science, they focus on functional and in-task rehabilitation leveraging patient beliefs and holistic management to decrease chronic pain and maximize function. Both practitioners are also versed in treating common post-op conditions such as joint replacement and rotator cuff repair. They have been together for 10 years and enjoy a variety of hobbies together including competetive gaming, sand soccer, skateboarding, upgrading performance cars. You can commonly find them on sunset beach after hours walking their beloved german shepherd; Leela.

Janenne Ellis

Janenne, an Army veteran, brings nearly 30 years of physical therapy experience with her. She has numerous certifications including her Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Certified Functional Dry Needling® Practitioner, Certified Graston® Practitioner, Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner®, and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certification (Level 1). Janenne specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine, but excels in the treatment of all patients.

Rachel Policke
- DPT (Doctor Of Physical Therapy) - University of Lynchburg
  - LSVT BIG certified

Rachel has over three years of clinical experience in physical therapy serving this community and has adapted her high level analytical skills to serving her patients here at Level Up Physical Therapy. Doctor Policke is very organized, punctual and frequently requested by satisfied repeat patients. She loves this area and has fond memories vacationing in this area before becoming a permanent resident here when she joined our team. Before she was a physical therapist she was a chemist and she is known in the office for her expansive vocabulary.

Tawana Stevenson
- Front Office Manager

Tawana is a native of Brunswick County. She has previously worked in Long Term care, Pediatric Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. Tawana is a graduate of Mt. Olive College with a B.A in Healthcare Management.

Tawana enjoys spending time with her 3 beautiful children and occasionally catering small events in her community.

Jane Massaro
- Front Office Administrator

Jane recently moved to Sunset Beach from Northeast PA to live a more relaxed life in the sunshine. She joined Level Up Physical Therapy in Sept 2021 as an Administrative Assistant. She previously worked for a physical therapy office in northeast PA for the last 10 years. Jane is a graduate of Centenary college where she earned her Associates in fine arts.

Jane spends her free time taking walks on the beach, refinishing furniture, crafting and training her labrador retriever “ Tess”. She is an avid photographer and enjoys the opportunity to capture the beauty of our area.
